Returns To Smartsound
The policy below refers only to products sold directly from our company to you. If you have purchased products from one of our resellers, please contact the reseller for details regarding their policy, as it may be different from ours.
Smartsound Software products are not returnable. Only exchanges for defective products will be accepted. If you feel a product you received is defective, you have 60 days from the date of purchase to make a claim. We will exchange your defective product for a free replacement, and we will cover shipping costs of the replacement.
Returning Defective Products:
All returns must have an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers are issued by the Support Department. Contact them at via Email.
Once you have received your RMA#, our support staff will issue a call tag for your return.
Please place the defective CD in a protective container and mark your RMA# on the outside of the package.
Include a copy of your original sales invoice in the package.
Returns must be received within 15 business days from the date we issue the RMA#.
RMA#s expire after 15 business days and are not renewable.
Product Delivery Issues
If you have not received your order and tracking information indicates that it has been delivered, you must report this to us by email. You have 5 business days to report a missing package so that FedEx can do appropriate delivery investigation. If you do not report a missing delivery to us within this time frame, it is assumed to be received and in good condition. No claims for non-delivery can be made after this time.

Should you receive the wrong product, please contact us immediately. Do not open the wrong product , as opened products are not returnable. Contact our customer service department by email at sales@smartsound.com for exchange information. (We are open between 8am and 5pm Pacific time, Monday through Friday.) You must contact us within 10 business days of receipt of the order to qualify for an exchange of product ordered.
Third Party Product Purchase Issues
If you discover what you believe is a product defect for a third-party product, please contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding the manufacturer's warranty.
