When you export a SmartSound music track as a .WAV or .AIFF file using Smart Recall, important SmartSound information is hidden in a safe area within the file. Don’t worry, the integrity of the file remains intact so these files appear and function no differently from any other .WAV or .AIFF. When a Smart Recall file is opened by SmartSound Sonicfire Pro 4.5 or Express Track®, instead of just showing the waveform data, the Smart Recall data is extracted from the file and you SmartSound program brings you back to the project that originally created that file. This makes it incredibly easy to make quick changes to the length, arrangement and instrument mix of the file. Since Final Cut Pro allows you to open its music tracks in a selected editor, a Smart Recall file on the timeline is ready to be customized by any Sonicfire Pro 4.5 user in your organization. Simply select “Open in Editor” to open a Smart Recall file in Sonicfire Pro 4.5. Once you’ve made your fine-tuning, just overwrite the file with your new changes and you’re all done. Final Cut automatically recognizes your changed file and updates your sequence.
