Edgy Pop royalty Free MusicPop it Like it’s Hot

Edgy pop music is the way to go when productions require a driving, energetic or wild beat. Pop music is often eclectic or borrows elements from other music styles including rock, urban, dance and Latin, though there are common elements to pop music. Edgy pop music can be bold, raw, jagged and dissonant, and employ repeated choruses, melodic tunes and hooks to catch the listener’s ear and draw them into the song. Edgy pop music is great for youth culture, romantic sitcoms, viral videos, promotional videos and high-energy ads.

Vocals in the form of rap, breaths, or monosyllables were added over the top, and a whole new style was born. One legend of the origin of the term has rapper Keith Cowboy mocking a friend who’d just joined the Army with the nonsense phrase “hip/hop hip/hop” to mimic the marching soldiers.

Uplifting IdeasSmartSound’s Heartwarming Royalty Free Pop Music brings it together, fleshing out all that is heartwarming in terms of uplifting, positive and motivating, with Rock’s happy-go-lucky offspring, Pop Music.

From Jangle Pop comes sweet, expansive ballad, True Desire, which starts out quietly and pensively with Indie guitar riffs. It’s then joined unobtrusively by string beds, like two opposites attracting each other, but still tentative. Pop Rock and strings make for a great relationship and this track turns up the joy fast, building to the climax of the story just in time for a Short Film.

Michael RaphaelVocals always add a confident note of energy to any musical interlude. SmartSound’s Vocal Royalty Free Pop Music brings out the full range, from pointed, spot-on lyrics to soothing background syllables that are themselves an atmospheric instrument.

The heartwarming, yet bittersweet vocal tone of Gold from newer release Nova Page & AD21 (reviewed December 6, 2013)

echoes in the lyrics “We gotta move on.. I wish you love..you are gold, but you’re not mine.” Driving acoustic guitar background moves towards the inevitable conclusion, at least for now, of this relationship. If your story indeed sees the couple out and on to other things, Gold works, and the hopeful tone indicates they’ll be wiser, if sadder. As always, though, the storyline could take a twist. Once they’ve well and truly let go, they may, in the future, see it was what they really wanted all along, and the kind parting words leave the door open.
