If your network uses a proxy server and you are not able to connect to SmartSound for update, previews or purchases, there is a solution. Open the QuickTime player. Click the Edit menu, mouse-over the Preferences menu item and then click "QuickTime Preferences". Doing this will present you with the QuickTime Preferences window. From this window, drop down the menu at the top and choose "Streaming Proxy". From the Streaming Proxy screen, uncheck the "use system settings" checkbox and enter your proxy settings. You may also need to set the ports under the "Streaming Transport" option in the drop-down menu.<br /> <br /> Once this is done, Sonicfire Pro should be able to work through your proxy server
