No Sound on Mac Mavericks 10.9

Unfortunately Sonicfire Pro 5.7.5 and below are not compatible on the Mac Mavericks 10.9 OS due to changes in the OS itself. If you are running the Mavericks OS, you will need to use Sonicfire Pro version 5.8.3.

Sonicfire Pro 5.8 is a paid upgrade from Sonicfire Pro 5.7.5. If you previously had the full timeline version (Scoring Edition) of Sonicfire Pro 5.7.5 or below, the upgrade to v5.8 is $29.95, and also includes a full multilayer music album, Core Evolution. You could also use the free version of Sonicfire Pro for no cost, but the timeline features will not be accessible. If you did not own the timeline version previously, the cost for a new full license of Sonicfire Pro 5.8 is $99.95.

You can download the new installer for Sonicfire Pro 5.8 (which is a new, separate application from version 5.7.5). Run the installer, then launch the new v5.8 app from the Applications folder. Then log with your SmartSound account and you can process the full upgrade from within the software if you wish, or you can use the Express Track window to export your music.
