Disk Space Requirements:
Each 22k Audio/Sound Palette contains about 200MB of data. The 44k files are about 400MB in size.
Setting the Default Location
Before copying, you can set the location where the SmartSound music will be loaded. Go to Edit, Preferences. At the bottom of the screen, under Local Sound Files location, click Set and choose the directory where you would like the files copied. NOTE: All sound files must be stored in the same directory. Do not move the sound files to other directories, or SmartSound will not be able to access them.
Copying the Palettes
Place the Audio or Sound Palette to be copied into the CD-ROM drive. Go to Edit, Librarian. On the left hand side of the screen, click on the title to be copied. The tracks from the Palette will then be listed on the right. Click on the top selection, then scroll down, hold down the shift key and click on the last selection. This will highlight all of the tracks. Click Copy. Each track will typically require a couple of minutes to copy. As each track is successfully copied, a check mark will appear in front of the name. When you are finished, click Done.
